What is the difference between embroidery and printing?

Embroidery uses thread to sew a design onto an item; we do all embroidery in-house. Printing involves either using ink pressed through a screen onto an item to create the design (done in-house) or using a print with the design on it and using heat to apply it to the item (prints are ordered and we apply in-house). We recommend washing printed items inside out and dry on low heat.

Depending on your design and garments we may recommend one over another for the best result. For your convenience we have an information sheet regarding our services and what to take into consideration when wanting to place an order.

We do provide one-off embroidery services and accommodate large orders. For printing we usually recommend 10 or more items to be printed with the same logo. Embroidery has no minimum quantity.

How would I place an order?

We ask that you email us, call, or come in with detailed information regarding what you’re looking for. This includes embroidery or printing, do you have your logo in vector/line art format, time frame, how many items, would you be ordering your own garments or would you be buying through us, placements, among other questions we may ask.

After placing the order, we’ll have your logo digitized and send you a sample of your logo (either through email or a physical sample for you to come look at), this is included in the set-up fee. If you’re choosing garments to be ordered, you can send us the style, sizes, colors, and quantities and we’ll order the items on your behalf the following Monday.

What’s your pricing?

Here’s a link to our downloadable and printable embroidery price guide. Keep in mind this may change and does not include other possible charges such as set up/digitizing and shipping to or from Juneau, AK.

Screen printing is subject to quote.

What brands do you carry? Can I provide my own?

For both name-brands and cost-effective brands we carry please look at our supplier website sanmar.com. While we have plenty of samples and miscellaneous items in store, we may have to order your items to be shipped to us.

You are welcome to provide your own garments, however we do have customers sign a liability waiver stating that we do not take accountability for any workmanship error and will not replace the item.

Where do I find the website to order garments for embellishment?

The Shop page on this website is for our retail only, not for placing embellishment orders. Please visit sanmar.com to see our options. To order something from the distributor website you will need to email us the items, sizes, colors, and quantities and we will place the order on the following Monday on your behalf. Keep this in mind if you have a hard deadline.

Lead Time

If you have a deadline, please place your order as soon as possible to ensure timely completion. The time from order to when you can pick up the items varies with each job (do we already have the logo(s), how many items, are we ordering, how many stitches/prints, etc) and changes frequently. We ask that you contact us with detailed information if you have a deadline. Upon ordering we’ll let you know approximately when you can expect it to be finished, but we’ll always call you for pick up.
